Curry L Thorpe

  Curry L. Thorpe passed away peacefully at home on Thursday morning, October 19 with his wife, Edna and his children by his side. He was 79 years old.
  Curry was born November 18, 1937 in Brooksville, MS and had been a South Bend resident since 1952. He was a retiree of Casteel Construction Company.
  Curry and Edna Day were united in Holy Matrimony on August 23, 1961 and were the parents of five children; Scottie, Tyrone and Curry Thorpe, Jr. who survive him. A daughter, Lywanna and son, James Lamont preceded him in death.
  Curry loved sports, especially football and basket ball. He attended all the high school games.
  We loved you Curry and your presence will be missed.
