Flama Nell (Jackson) Randle bid farewell to this life on November 18, 2017 at her residence in Elkhart, Indiana. She was 74 years old.
She was born on August 3, 1943 in Mason, TN to the late Homer and Annie Beatrice (Whithorne) Randle.
Flama Nell was united in marriage to James M. Jackson on June 10, 1962 in Brighton, TN. The couple was blessed to share 15 years.
Flama Nell accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Tucker Temple Church of God in Christ in Mason, TN. Her family moved to Elkhart, Indiana in 1962 where she joined the St. James A.M.E. Church, and served as a missionary. She was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church upon her passing.
She had a personality that was caring, loving and outspoken. She was a homemaker and a domestic worker. Everyone loved her cooking skills especially her famous "Butter Roll". She loved talking on the phone with her family and friends. She would always ask "How you were doing?", she loved to hear that things were going well, and loved to talk about her friend Jesus.
She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory: Four daughters; Winona (Otis) Henderson, Ida (Stanley) Starling, Lisa (James) Beasley and Angel (Demetris) Sherrod: 10 grandchildren, Chakiea, Irenna, Chirenna, Jermaine, John, Kivvon, Kyseidra, Larry, Ariana and a grandson Kenzell who preceded her in death in September, 2005 and 11 great grandchildren. Seven sisters; Earnestine Mathis, Oakland, TN; Ale-Gean Middlebrook, Somerville , TN; Dorsey B. Johnson, South Bend, IN; Ida Randle, Clementine Brown and Diane Anderson, all of Memphis, TN, and one sister Clara Randle Langdon preceded her in death in January 2011. Four brothers; Homer (Claudia) Randle, Jr., A.D. Randle; Nathaniel (Wilma) Randle, all of Memphis, TN and one brother James T. Randle preceded her in death in July, 2008. Three sisters-in-law, Lula (JC) Carter, Christine (Charles) Walker, and Yvonne Williams; Three brother-in-law Alonzo (Carnetis) Jackson, Jr., Rev. Charles B. (Malinda) Jackson, and her favorite brother-in-law Jerel (Eva) Jackson. Her dear friends Mearl Williamson, Ella Warren, Ozella Gibson, Ben Roby, Glen Starling Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who all loved her dearly.
