Jessie Love Obituary

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:1,2,4

Jessie Love (35) the oldest of four children, was born August 24, 1983 in Elkhart, IN to Jessie Parker and Katherine (Love) Baker. He attended Memorial High School and went on to continue his education in dental school. After discovering he did not want to spend the rest of his life playing in other people’s mouths, he went back to school to pursue his passion of truck driving. In the end, it made sense because he had the best teacher, his bonus dad, Eric Baker.

From birth, Jessie had been a joy, outgoing, and strong willed. Once he set his mind to something, he made sure to accomplish it. He was also a very good cook. Gumbo was his specialty dish, and often made it for his family.

Jessie will be greatly missed. I could go on and on talking about how great of a son Jessie was, but at some point, I must end this. A mother’s love runs deep, but He has been called to rest.

Jessie leaves to cherish his memory, Parents Eric and Katherine Baker. Father Jessie (Alice Royal) Parker, of Long Beach, CA., his children Nyla and Collin Love of South Bend, their mother Danica Ullery, Leahna and MaKayla Love, bonus children Jayden and Shawneen and their mother Jennifer Gray of Michigan. Siblings Latoria (Kendrick) Lipkins, Christopher (Kelsey) Love, all of South Bend, IN, Antonio and fiancé Brianna Culbreath of Osceola, IN, Nevaeh Baker, Erica Baker, LaShun Baker, and Isaiah Baker, all of Granger, IN.
