Born Mattie Lee Fitz on July 8, 1933 in Tipton County, Tennessee to the late Carl and Laura (Allen) Fitz, Mattie Lee Malone parted this life on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Elkhart, Indiana.
She was 86 years old.
On February 18, 1950, Mattie was united in marriage to the late Nesbit Malone, Sr.
She is survived by her children; Ruby (Walter)Johnson, Wayne (Mary) Malone, Annie (Sherman) Wiley, Edward (Dadine) Malone of Mc Comb, Mississippi, Alonzo (Youlanda) Malone of California, Billy (Valerie) Malone, Annette (Dossie) Gates, Jenete (Kenneth) Fountain, Theresa (Brad) Wolverton of Dowagiac, MI, David (Renee) Malone of Atlanta, GA, Calvin Malone and Robert (Donna) Malone.
Also surviving her are 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nesbit Malone, Sr.
