Terrence Allen Obituary

Terence Lynis Allen Sr., 58, was born June 25, 1961 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Olivia Allen and surviving father Charles Thomas (Debra).

He departed this life after a lengthy battle with medical issues Sunday morning, December 1st, 2019 at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.

A lifelong resident of Elkhart, Terence attended Elkhart Central High School from which he later received his GED diploma. In the early 80s he was employed with Jacobs Steel then Nations Rent until 2001, where he joined his late wife Linda Simpson-Allen in creating various businesses.

Terence leaves behind his children: Tamara Allen and Terence Allen Jr., Milwaukee, WI; Jenecia Simpson, Nakia Henagan (James), Shannon Allen all of Goshen; siblings: Sam Gary, Charles Gary(Janie), Twilia Taylor-Williams, Gwendolyn Gary, Terry Allen, Pamela Thomas all of Elkhart; Steve Thomas of Miami; Anthony Thomas ,Virgin Islands; Eight grandchildren, a number of family and loving friends.

He was baptized at an early age and continued his faith throughout the years.

Terence was preceded in death by his step-father Joseph Allen; sister, Esterine Gary; sister, Angela Allen; brother, Chris Thomas; sister, Patricia Hunter; and brother, Thomas Gary.
