Catherine Elizabeth Pfeifer

 Catherine Elizabeth Pfeifer passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was 83 years old.
  Born April 13, 1932 in Little Rock , Arkansas, Catherine was one of 17 children born to Charles Mack and Lena (Steele) Pfeifer.
  Catherine had been a South Bend resident for more than fifty years. Here she was a homemaker to her seven children.
  Along with her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by eleven of her siblings, (6 sisters) and (5 brothers). Two sons, Glenn Ervin Pfeifer and John Douglas (Lottie) Pfeifer and a daughter, Christina Chism also preceded her in death.
  She is survived by sons Arthur James (Tina) Lottie-Pfeifer of Oceanside, CA, Lonnie (Alford) Merriweather of Indianapolis, IN and daughters Kimberly Pfeifer of Indianapolis, IN, Sheena (Robert) Pfeifer-Barros of South Bend and Stepdaughter, Sharon Johnson also survive her along with 18 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren.
  Also surviving are brothers John Edward Pfeifer of Glendale, AZ, Richard Eugene (Hamilton) Pfeifer of South Bend, Johnathon Pfeifer of Illinois and a sister, Margaret Jackson of South Bend along with special friends Arena Jones, Elizabeth (Liz) Harris, Carolyn (CeeCee) Cornelious and Birdie Green.
