Collden “Big Mac” McKinnon, 77, of South Bend, IN passed away April 30th at Golden Living Center. He was born in Lumberton, North Carolina on March 13, 1943 to Missie Alford and John William McKinnon.
Collden is survived by his children: Omar Watkins, Matthew McKinnon, Terrance McKinnon, Steve (Sharina) McKinnon, Kianna McKinnon, his stepdaughters Talise Briley and Tamara Bowens.
Also surviving him are brothers: John B., Leroy, Kenny, Daniel, Samuel, Rodney, and Calvin; sisters; Evelyn, Francis, Susan, Joyce, and Patricia and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Collden was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jerry, Edmond, and Arthur.
Collden was the pillar of odd jobs in his community. He loved carpentry and worked as a brick mason in construction for 30+ years before retirement.
