Corine Ross

Mrs. Corine Ross, age 87 expired March 22, 2018 at home with her family at her side.
 She was born in Macon, Mississippi  on April 24, 1930 the oldest of four children born to William C. and Alberta Gilkey.
Corine attended Oliver School and was a graduate of Washington High School.

For more than thirty years she was employed by the South Bend Community School Corporation as a security guard.
She enjoyed doing gardening/yard work with her daughter.
 On June 7, 1947 in Chicago, IL, Corine and Ollie W. Ross, Sr. were united in holy matrimony. Along with her husband, Corine was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mattie Duke and Ruth Connors, a brother, William C. Gilkey, Jr. and daughter, Sheila M. Marsh.
She is survived by her children, James M. Ross, Anthony P. Ross, Shirley A. Ross, Ollie W. Ross, Jr., Michael E. Ross Clara J. Ross and Sharon J. Ross along with eight grandchildren and her pets, Bella, Sheba and Marty.
