Ms. Daaimah Hasan, 75, born in Blytheville, Arkansas, was very passionate about faith, family, life and traveling.. She was a hard worker and caregiver for over 40 years; all the while, being a loving and devoted mother of five.
Daaimah shared her love of cooking wither children by preparing homemade meals. A few of her favorite dishes were potato salad and pot roast.
Sharing her love of traveling with her family, they lived and explored the rivers of Missouri, the countryside of Indiana, the beaches of California and the lakes of Michigan. There were so many lasting memories made.
Though she may have been mmiles away, Daaimah made sure to call and check in on her family. Keeping in touch with family has always been important to her; especially in the last moments of her life. Daaimah's connection with family was an extension of her deep love for God.
Daaimah returned to Allah July 12, 2020.
She is survived by her devoted former husband, Nafis Hasan; three daughters, Lateefah (Clarence) Hasan of East St. Louis, IL, Maryam Hasan of South Bend, IN and Yasmeen Paradise of Ballston Spa, NY; her sons, Abdul Hasan of San Diego, CA and Yusuf (Chanya) Hasan of Mt. Clemens, MI; five sisters, Deanie Wilson of South Bend, IN, Ethel (Jerry) Anderson of South Bend, IN, Alice (Stanley) Wells of Detroit, MI, Verlean (Darrell) Anderson of Lansing, MI and Joyce Underwood of Maryland; brothers, Charlie James, Irvin and Jimmie Underwood all of South Bend, IN; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-one greta-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
