She worked at Bendix for many years and then went to work for the Juvenile Justice Center. She enjoyed fashion and was well known for always being dressed to the “T.” She loved and cherished her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In 1969 she married Richard Rodgers and had three beautiful children in that union.  In 1999 she wed Edloyal Reeves.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memory her husband, Edloyal Reeves of Indianapolis, Indiana; her son, Anthony Brown, Sr. of Indianapolis; her daughters Kimberly (Brian) Williams of Oviedo, LaShawn Rodgers of Indianapolis, and a stepdaughter Tosha (John) Mohammad; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a special sister, Elizabeth Ann Ward and a host of other relatives and friends.
