Derry Boochie Vaughn

Derry Boochie Vaughn was born October 1, 1960 to Derry and Cornelia Vaughn in South Bend Indiana and departed this life on Thursday, October 22, 2015. He was 55 years old.

He is survived by three sons, Derry Terez (Kelly) Vaughn, Dewon Anthony Bush and Charles Kirkland, all of South Bend; four sisters, Verle Lee, Daphne Vaughn, Sharon Vaughn and Ramona Updyke and a brother, Tyron Vaughn.

Four granddaughters, Kueen Dior, Saniia Franklin, Lyric Green and Illisse Bush also survive him along with five grandsons, Derry Terez, Derrious, Dandre, Micaa and Mikel.

Other family members and friends who survive to cherish his memory are nephews Diallo Lee, Jesse Taylor, Omar Lee, David Vaughn, Curtis Smith and “special nephew” Jay Hustle (free 99); two nieces, Anika Lee and Martina Vaughn. A very special uncle, Lewis Franklin Brown and special cousin Tangela Brown of Lansing, IL along with special friends Michelle Lottie and Dion Monty and other family and friends are among those who will miss his presence but cherish his memory.

Derry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bernester Brown.

Derry "I'm Boochie" Vaughn loved writing, reading and Jeopardy. He has authored two books which will be published in the near future.

 Derry was very family oriented, especially with his children.
