Dorian Lamont Harris, 47, born and raised in South Bend, IN left this physical world on Sunday morning, November 1, 2020.
Dorian was born May 23, 1973 in South Bend, IN to the union of Carol Smith and Willie Harris Sr. Born a twin he wasn’t expected to live longer than 3-days. A fighter from the beginning he lived an interesting yet full life. Securing his GED, he made a decision to turn his life around. Over the past several years he gained experience working for Goodwill Industries and Lippert Components. He wanted better for himself and you could find him posting on Facebook that mediocrity was no longer an option. He was always the life of the party and made sure everyone was smiling and having a good time. He LOVED his family and close friends and spending time with them made him happiest. He was blessed to have 13 children that are left to cherish his memory. Oldest to youngest include Dorian Harris Jr., Dominique Harris, DorRese Harris, Torenzo Williams, Dayona Harris, Doriana Harris, Angel Gilliam, Khristiann Cleveland, Alonzo Cleveland, Deangelo Harris, Da’Mareyia Harris, Da’Nesha Harris and Dorian Harris III. Along with several grandkids.
He has a huge family and a host of friends that will also miss him and loved him dearly. His surviving siblings include his favorite sister and homie, Onesha (Harold) Johnson, 6 more sisters; Dakia Harris, Katrina (Whitney) Davis, Shakira (Benjamin) Harris, Kesha (Kenric) Farlow, Olisha (Sipho) Mafu and Nicolette Denson. Two brothers; Willie (Racquel) Harris Sr and Dana Denson. A special step mom Nicol (Patrick) Denson-Williams and step dad Oliver (Rain) Smith. Special friends, more like brothers, Teray (JacQueese) Bush and Terry Gates Jr. (TJ). Special cousin, Dameon (Emma) Smith and special aunt Yolanda (Ebonique) Lott. Anybody who knew Dorian, knew he loved the ladies but there was one that was closer than any other, Ms. Evelyn Cross-Malone.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Harris, Sr., twin sister, Doriana Harris, oldest sister Darnisha Harris, both sets of grandparents; Sylvester & Mozella Harris and Moses & Pearl Smith, three aunts; Joan, Doris & Bonnie Smith, three uncles; Willie B. Cross, Sylvester Harris Jr & Moses Smith and two cousins; Shaquindra and Arkisha Smith.
