Eddie B Driver

  Mr. Eddie B. Driver Sr, Niles, MI was called to his heavenly home Monday morning July 20, 2015. Eddie was born July 13, 1922 in Hughes, Arkansas a son of Henry and Bertha (Walker) Driver. Eddie, a WWII Army Veteran had been a Niles area resident since 2012, coming from Chicopee, MA.
  He was an employee of AM General for 30 years before retiring. After retirement he was employed with Ryder Trucking Company for 20 years. Eddie enjoyed traveling across country, going to the White Sox and Cubs baseball games in Chicago and spending time with family.
  Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; wife Addie Lee in 2003, and a son Dwight Driver; three brothers, Henry Driver, A.D. Driver, and Cleave Driver, two sisters Celeste Herring and Ida Mae Rucker.
  Surviving are 8 children, Eddie (Helen) Driver of Portage, MI, Jack Driver of South Bend, IN, Francine (John) Williams of South Bend, IN, Judy Driver of Indianapolis, IN, Ruth Driver of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Driver of South Bend, IN, Gail (Tyree) Dickerson of Indianapolis, IN, Vickie Driver of South Bend, IN. Two Brothers, Steve (Marietta) Driver of South Bend, IN, Clyde (Mary Ann) Driver of Chicago IL and one sister Bertha Andrews of Chicago, IL. 23 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren also survive him along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
