Mr. Edloyal Reeves 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born on November 8, 1940, in Jackson, Tennessee to the union of Hubert and Severa (Chism) Reeves.
Edloyal accepted Christ at a young age. He was educated in the Jackson school system and relocated to South Bend, Indiana after completing school. In South Bend he secured employment at Bendix where he worked for many years and then retired. A few years after retirement he desired to be nearer to family, so he relocated to Indianapolis.
In 1999 he was united in marriage to Deborah Berry Reeves who preceded him in death.
Edloyal enjoyed music, sports and most importantly he loved his family. He also loved cooking and was a southern soul food chef in his kitchen.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter Tosha (and son-in-law, John) Jackson-Muhummad; three stepchildren, Anthony Brown Sr., LaShawn Rodger both of Indianapolis and Kimberly (Brian) Williams of Florida; two brothers, Hubert (Modean) Reeves of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Randy Reeves of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; six sisers. Jerline Johnson, Mary Cash, Betty (Jesse) Austin, Glenda Reeves, Sandra Reeves all of Milwaukee and Vera (Marvin) Crayton of South Bend;17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with his wife Deborah, he was also preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Edna Bernice Reeves, Vesa Douglas and Lucy Reeves and two brothers, Richard Reeves and Robert Reeves.
