Edward S. Hines

Edward “Sidney” Hines, 55 of Elkhart departed this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the University of Michigan Medical Center – Ann Arbor.

He was born November 25, 1959 in Mason, Tennessee to James Edward Woodley and Mary Helen Hines (Woodley).

Sidney was employed at Century Foam for 27 years and really loved working there. He also loved to Dee-Jay, Bowl, Roller Skate, Eat and just have a great time; especially the annual music festival held every July in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Sidney accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Mary Helen Hines of Elkhart; siblings Melvin L. Hines, Annette Hines and Willie Frank (Teresa) Woodley of Elkhart and Randar Woodley, Diane Woodley and Curtis D. (Charlene) Woodley of Memphis, Tennessee. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his father James E. Woodley; stepmother Bertha Woodley, sister Jacquline G. Hines, grandparents Emmitt and Nellie (Jackson) Hines and Roosevelt and Mary Ella Woodley; nephew Silvester O Hines, niece Krystal N. Hines Anderson;  great niece Bryanna M. Hines Branch along with other relatives.
