Obituary
It is with a saddened and heavy heart that the Haynes Family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Eliza Mae Haynes.
Eliza was born in Smoke Bend, Louisiana on November 25, 1937. She was welcomed home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Eliza passed peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family. As we mourn her earthly death, we celebrate the life she lived and the eternal life she now has.
Funeral arrangements for Eliza will be held on Saturday, April 16th at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church located at 101 N Adams Street, South Bend, IN. Pastor Andre McGhee officiating.
Viewing hours began at 10:00am with Services following at 11:00am. Burial Service will follow immediately at Highland Cemetery.
Our hearts are filled with sincere thanksgiving for the many expressions of love, prayers and support shown to us in this most difficult time.
We hold fast to 2 Corinthians 5:8 “to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord”.
