Gracie L. (Edwards) Kendall

Gracie Lillian Kendall was born December 19,1930 in Anniston, Alabama. Gracie peacefully entered eternal life on October 18, 2014 in South Bend, Indiana. She was 83 years old.
  Amazing Grace is how she is described. Her abilities as a seamstress were known throughout South Bend. Loved and admired, Gracie was an inspiration to all who knew her.
  On December 22, 1947 she married Willie Kendall, Jr., who preceded her in death.
  Those who will cherish her memory are four sons; Timon (Miriam) Kendall of Mattawan, MI; Phillip (Becky) Kendall of Irving, TX; Michael (Peggy) Kendall of Canal Winchester, OH; and Tracy (Kim) of Lithonia, GA; five daughters; Jean (George) Smith and Phyllis (Rickey) Bonds of South Bend, IN; Angela (Wyatt) Garrett of Palmdale, CA; Cheryl (Wallace) Sconiers of San Marcos, CA and Margaret (Reginald) Atkins of Indianapolis, IN and one brother, Edward (Nita) Edwards of Los Angeles, CA along with 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
  The funeral service is at 12:00 noon Saturday, October 25 with visitation one hour before the service at Cobb Funeral Home, 3525 S. Michigan St. South Bend.
