Grady Richard Harvell, Sr.

 Grady Richard Harvell, Sr. passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Briarcliff Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was 95 years old.
  Grady was born on November 4, 1920 in Lynnville Tennessee to the late Gilbert and Edna (Wagstaff) Harvell. He was a WWII veteran honorably discharged from the U.S. Army on September 30, 1945 and was an active member of Amvets Post 66. A longtime employee of Harry Verkler Construction Company, his active employment years ended in 1975 with his retirement from Van Gosit.
  He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Edna Harvell, a son, Grady, Jr., sisters, Emma Burnett, Josephine Hill and Lovie Lee as well as a grandson Marcus Harvell and granddaughter Mary Jo Harvell.
  Grady is survived by daughters Emma Jean (Walter) Hudgins of Norcross, GA, Earline Corley of Nashville, TN and son Larry Harvell, Sr. of South Bend, IN along with three step-daughters, Rita Burks, Yvonne Leslie and Belinda Horton, all of Nashville, TN.
  Also surviving to cherish his memory are sister, Mildred Eloise Alford of Nashville, TN, 17, grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren, best friend, Gertrude Love and a host of other relatives and friends.
