Henry C. Weymon, Jr. was born to Henry C. Weymon, Sr. and Ardelia (Bumpas) Mahone on December 22, 1943, in Hollywood, Tennessee. He graduated from Central High School in 1961. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, followed by an enlistment in the Navy, from 1961 until 1980. While enlisted, he became a 2nd degree black belt and sensei in 1978. He was then employed at A.M. General, where he worked faithfully for 45 years until retirement. On July 27, 1985, he was united in marriage to his wife of 42 years, Delois “Sweetie” Weymon and remained devoted until his passing. Henry was preceded in death by his mother, Ardelia Mahone, fathers Edward Mahone and Henry Weymon Sr., and a brother, Robert Collier. He is survived by his wife, Delois, seven children, Cassandra Weymon of Atlanta, GA, Larry Lewis, Jr. and Rodney Lewis of Killeen, TX, Andre Lewis (Patricia) of Dalton, IL, Robert Lewis, Natali Lewis and Keith Lewis of South Bend, IN, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
