Joe Charles McGhee

Joe Charles McGhee passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Valley View Nursing Home.
He was a member of the Community Missionary Baptist Church where he faithfully served on the Deacon Board and Sunday School for 38 years.  He had a special love for his family and music. In 1980 Joe founded and was a member of The Christian Harmonizers Quartet Group.  Joe retired from NIBCO Inc. in 1998 following 47 years of service.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 60 ½ years Mattie M. McGhee; a son Joe Neal (Murialene), daughters Virgie M. Gary, Jacqueline (Elliott) McCoy, Marqueline K. McGhee all of Elkhart, IN; a god-daughter, Patricia Madison;13 grandchildren,29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sons Jerome McGhee and Jeffrey Gary and a grandson Byron Gary.
