Mrs. Mable Lee (Williams) Spriggs, 90 of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born in Plumerville, Arkansas on January 11, 1933 to the union of Estras Brigance Conner and Theodore Williams; they both preceded her in death.
She graduated from Menifee High School in Menifee, Arkansas. She moved from Arkansas to Hawthorne, Nevada, where she met and was united in marriage to the late Albert H. Spriggs in 1957.The two eventually relocated to South Bend where they raised their daughter, Beverly Jean Williams-Spriggs. Mable secured employment as an Account Preparer with the AM General Corporation and retired in 2010.
Upon moving to South Bend Mable joined Pilgrim Baptist Church where she was a long-standing member.
Along with her parents and husband, Mable was also preceded in death by her siblings, Corrie Donald, Sarah Pettus and SnowElla Dean. She leaves behind, her daughter, Beverly; her grandson, Rodney S. Harris and his wife Nikki Harris; great grandchildren: Ryan, Ryleigh, Rylan, Travion, Alaijah, and DeJanae and one great-great granddaughter, Aria. a sister, Geneva Criswell; her sidekick and furry friend, Irish; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; a sister-in-law, Della Massey; her best friend Clydale Wert along with many other friends.
Mable was a kind loving person who was dedicated to her husband, daughter, family, church and friends. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
