Mrs. Margaret Ann Kyle-Jackson of Elkhart, Indiana was called home to her final resting place on Friday, August 18, 2023. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home; she was 87 years old. Margaret was born in Marion, Arkansas to the late Callis and the late Doris Seymour on August 20, 1935. Margaret graduated in 1954 from Phelix High School in Marion. While in high school Margaret met Robert Kyle. Shortly after, they were joined in holy matrimony and were blessed to enjoy the births of four children: Bernadine Kyle, Robert Steve Kyle Jr., Mélodie Kyle-Gaylord and Brenda Kyle. Her husband, Robert preceded her in death. In 1995 she was united in marriage to Fredrick Jackson who also preceded her in death. Having confessed her Hope in Christ at the tender age of eight, Margaret was always a faithful servant of the Lord. She joined One Lord One Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Joseph Kelly, where she remained a faithful worker until her passing. Sister Margaret was an eager servant and enjoyed maintaining all of the flowers and plants at the church. Margaret retired from ECHO-Incorporated where she worked for over 40 years. She was a landlord in Chicago, Illinois for 55 years. She was also a community organizer and organized the neighborhood block parties and an annual event to ensure that all of the children had school supplies. She was affectionately regarded as a mother and grandmother to many - - not just her own family. In every capacity she enjoyed helping others. Most of all she loved entertaining family and friends while listening to good music. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by two children, Bernadine Kyle (Sudan) and Robert Steve Kyle Jr.; her first grandson, Robert Cortez Gaylord and three siblings Alberta Irby, Thelma Ray and Calvin Seymour.
