Mark C. Hardy

Mr. Mark C.Hardy departed this life after a lengthy illness to rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 14, 2016.

Mark was bornOctober 31, 1955 to Horace B. and Rachel D. (Jones) Hardy in South Bend, Indiana where he spent most of his life.

Mark was a graduate of John Adams High School and received his Bachelors Degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. He worked in the construction until his retirement after twenty-five years.

On September 27, 2010 inPaducah, Kentucky Mark was united in Holy Matrimony with Jane (Miller). In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children; Christopher M. Hardy, Aaron Hardy, Drew Shell, Ericka R. Hardy and Anisha Shell.15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive him along with five sisters; Audrey Jones Spencer, Evelyn R. Robinson, PhyllisC. Canty, M. Doris (Harold) Jenkins,and Deborah A. (Truman) Diggins; four brothers, Horace B. Hardy, Curtis B. (Rebecca) Hardy,Karl A. Hardy and Stephen M. Hardy (Jan). He is also survived by a special nephew, DaQuan Shell Hardy along with several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Rachel Hardy; siblings Ronald E. Hardy, Joyce L. Kroll, Hortense M. MaGee and Kenneth E. Hardy.
