Michael Dennis Warren

Michael Dennis Warren, 68, of Beech Grove, Indiana gained his wings on Saturday, June 24, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 4, 1954 to the union of Harrison and Maime Warren; they both preceded him in death.

Michael attended Riley High School. After high school he joined the United States Army. After completing his Tour Of Duty he returned to South Bend where he gave his life to Christ and was baptized. On June 29, 1996 he was united in marriage to Shirley Smith and they remained solid until his passing. 

Michael was formerly employed by the City of South Bend and later relocated to Seattle, Washington. He secured employment in Seattle with the Prometheus Development Company and remained there until his retirement. He was a member of Saint John Transformation Ministries International Christian Church in Tacoma, Washington and was a member of the Men’s Breakfast Club.

.Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Shirley Warren; children, Dameon (Emma) Smith, Kenya (Antonio) Patterson, James Whiting, Shana Whiting and Marcus O’Neal; two brothers Cottie Flowers and Larry (Veronica) Warren; three sisters, Loretta Harris and Karen Warren Nedenia (Jerry) Mitchell; a special aunt and uncle Christine Ottbridge and Tommy Flowers along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Sonya Jackson.

Michael was a gentle giant that loved hard and was loved by many. He will be dearly missed.
