Michael Troy Wilson, Sr.

Michael Troy Wilson Sr., was born September 30th, 1969, in South Bend, IN. His parents are Barbara and William Murphy and Charles and Phyllis Pates.  

Michael graduated from Riley High School and attended Indiana State University, in Terre Haute, IN. He joined the Marine Corps in 1989 and was discharged in 1992. He tried many lines of work; however, his goal was to become a business owner.  He started installing manual sprinkler systems, which he enjoyed doing, and thus began his own business. Michael relocated to Huntsville, Alabama where his business expanded and became BMI Manual Sprinkler Systems, INC.  

Michael has 6 children: five sons Quentin Wilson, Zackary (Eshell) Wilson, Michael Jr. (Rodreana) Wilson, Marshal Wilson, Mitchell Wilson, one daughter, Peyton Wilson, and 7 grandchildren.  

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, grandchildren, parents and siblings: Orlando (Tiffany) Murphy, James Murphy, Juana White, Helen Pates, Joan Pates, Charlene Pates, Tyra (Demetrius) Lee, Tiffany (Marvel) Robinson, Charles Jr. (Kay) Pates, James (Lisa) Pates, and Terrence (Joana) Pates. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and those who loved him very much.  

Special cousins and care givers: Beltha Hinton and Belinda McComb. 

A special partner who cherished, loved and cared for him unconditionally, Ruth Kelly. 

Michael knew no strangers; he was a man with the gift of gab! He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
