Mrs. Patty Jean Lawrence, 79, passed away Saturday July 29, 2023, in Sacramento, California unexpectedly while traveling.
She was born to the union of Addie Mae (Walker) and Robert Lee Sharp, on September 20, 1943, in Dyersburg, Tennessee. On June 6, 1961, she married Robert Lee Lawrence in Trenton, Tennessee, a loving union that bore three children.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Vicky Lawrence of Granger, Indiana, Matthew (Maggie) Lawrence of Sacramento, California and Bruce (Shalean) Lawrence of Indianapolis, Indiana, four grandchildren, Jayden Lawrence, Sam Lai, Teondra Lawrence and Tyric Lawrence, two siblings, Martha (George) Mance and Billy (Charlotte) (Martha, Deceased) Sharp and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Sharp, her husband, Mr. Robert Lee Lawrence, two sisters and five brothers. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Elkhart, Indiana under the leadership of Rev. Danny Brown.
Patty was well loved, and she impacted the lives of many. She will be dearly missed.
