Tony Buntyn Obituary

TONY RENEA BUNTYN of 151 S. FALCON ST. SOUTH BEND, INDIANA passed away suddenly Wednesday of October 21, 2020 at his home.  Tony was born to Earline and Raymond Williams September 30, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee moving to South Bend, Indiana in 1968. Tony loved spending time with family and friends cooking, listening to music, dancing, and telling jokes.  Most of all Tony really enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, and of all his great nieces and nephews. Tony worked most of his adult life doing janitorial services and factory work at AJ WRIGHT. Tony was known by most at Bunk N Bea’s restaurant back in the early to late 80s’s.  Tony will be abundantly missed by all.

Tony is survived by his brother Ronald (Tonya) Buntyn of South Bend, Indiana, sisters Tracy Young, Tanjanique (Demetrius) Johnson and Elaine (Victor) Seward all of South Bend, Indiana. Nieces include Nicollette (Travas) Love, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Qunisha Buntyn, Terrica Young, Tychania Young, Tiffany Menyard and Taresha Menyard, Crystal Matlock and Antoinette Matlock: Nephews include Rahjean Welch, Kyre Gill and Darius (Heather) Harris.

Tony was proceeded in death by his mother Earline Williams, Grandmother Beatrice Foster, Uncle Warren Martin II, Cousin Warren Martin III and Brother Del Young.

Also cherishing Tony’s loving memory special friends and family; Lonnie Menyard, Carnell Thomas, Jeff Crosley, Robert Douglas, Brenda Adams and Lyrica Taylor. Tony and his brother Ronald shared an everlasting bond and memory that goes as far back as moving from Memphis during the rioting after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. The love between Tony and Ronald was unconditional with plenty of ups and downs.  My brother Tony was always my protector and guardian at times.

Due to rising COVID 19 conditions, there will be no memorial service and a repast will be determined later. Tony, we thank you for all the love, knowledge, support, and laughter you brought everyone through the years.  Now you have joined the rest of our Heavenly family. Please continue to shine your light down on us.  WE LOVE AND MISS YOU DEARLY TONY RENEA BUNTYN…TONY RENEA BUNTYN of 151 S. FALCON ST.
