Weslyn Naomi Rayelle Walker

Weslyn Naomi Rayelle Walker passed peacefully in her sleep on July 4, 2022. She was surrounded by her parents, Jordan Whitener and Wesley Walker, and her twin Jeremiah Walker. Weslyn was born on March 25, 2021, at 9:12PM, four minutes before her twin. Throughout her 15 months of life, Weslyn was a happy, smart baby. Her smile was bright, and her laugh was contagious. She loved to wave, walk, and take pictures. Weslyn gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. Weslyn will truly be missed and will live forever in our hearts. 

Weslyn is survived by her parents: Jordan Whitener and Wesley Walker; her twin brother: Jeremiah Walker; Maternal Grandparents: Ericka Parker and Sherman Whitener (Elkhart, IN); Maternal Great-Grandparents: Tonya Winters and Devon Parker; Paternal Grandmother: Isolde Ward; Paternal Great-Grandmother: Joyce Ward; Aunts: Tanisha Holder and Domonique Parker; Uncles: Isaiah Anderson, Shawn Walker, Joseph Watson, Justin Watson, Londen Williams; and a host of other family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jeremiah Parker.

Services for Weslyn will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM, viewing at 10:00 AM at Cobb Funeral Home, 3523 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46614. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
